About ARMA
Manny and Aaron launched ARMA to provide theology content that the average Christian can trust and enjoy.
ARMA Co-Creator: Manny Arango
Manny has always been a Bible nerd and a preacher. He graduated from Gordon College with a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical and Theological Studies then earned his Master’s degree from Southeastern University. This summer, Manny will start working towards his doctorate, and everyone in the ARMA community will follow Manny along that theological journey. Manny will be a doctoral student at Northern Seminary studying under Scot McKnight. Manny is excited to create ARMA courses based on what he discovers through studying at the doctoral level. If you’re looking to learn theology from a funny, loud, and charismatic personality — you’ll love ARMA. If you know Manny as a preacher, but have never been exposed to his inner nerd — you’re in for a treat.
ARMA Co-Creator: Aaron Ross
Aaron is a thinker, writer, professor, and creative. It was never Aaron’s goal to teach theology at an academic level, but after finishing his bachelors degree in theology and being a youth pastor, he quickly realized he had a passion for teaching and helping people explore deeply the things of God. After going on a wild journey of finishing a masters degree in theology, starting a PhD, finishing a masters of divinity while working on the PhD, to completing his doctorate this year, Aaron is a theology nerd that loves bringing big ideas to Christians in helpful and interesting ways. Taking courses from Aaron won’t just be another lecture on theology, but an engaging, deep, and fun discussion on why good theology and biblical studies is paramount to the lives of those who profess to follow Christ.
